Okular appears to have problems with form fields in Japanese language pdf
files:

(1) In some form fields, Japanese text is displayed as jibberish; latin
charaters and numbers, however, are displayed fine.
(2) In some form fields, ALL text is displayed as jibberish.
(3) Clickable fields are not displayed correctly (The underlying text can't be
seen; perhaps the fields are too large, or should be transparent.)
(4) On the printout, some fields retain borders that shouldn't be printed.

I can provide relevant files at request (the original, with some form fields
filled in, a copy of the printout).
