I used a "print to file (PDF)" printer.

1. I opened a console window.
2. Typed kdebugdialog, then typed okular in Search. The following checkboxes
were already checked (true): 4700 okular (app), 4710 okular (Poppler), 4711
okular (Spectre), 4712 okular (XpsGenerator), 4714 okular (DVI), 4714 okular
(TIFF), 4715 okular (OooGenerator).  The result of the next steps did not
depend whether I pressed OK to save these settings or I kept the KDebugDialog
running.
3. In another tab of the terminal window I entered: okular my_scanned_doc.pdf
4. Immediately this message was printed in the terminal: okular(2439): Attempt
to use QAction "bookmark_action_0" with KXMLGUIFactory!
5. Running this again showed the same message with a different number that was
greater than previous each time.
6. In okular I pressed File->Print, changed Name to "Print to File (PDF)", hit
the Print button.
7. After a second this message window appeared: Error - Okular. Could not print
the document. Please report to bugs.kde.org.
8. UNFORTUNATELY no other messages were printed in the terminal window.
9. I closed Okular and no messages again.


Did I do something wrong with kdebugdialog?
The original pdf file was created by xsane as a multipage PDF.  In Fedora 10 I
had no problem printing such files from Okular to reduce file size while
maintaining reasonable quality.
