It would be useful to have more configuration options for the default behaviour
of many of the annotations. 
Default values of opacity, width, font size, etc should be adjustable. 
Another thing is that the highlighting feature (very useful, btw!) should have
a 2-column format. This could either be explicitly set by the user or
preferably inferred from the file itself (may be by looking for a vertical
"blank" line in the middle of the page, say).
