I installed libpoppler 0.10.3 from an external repository, but that did not
help.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19669 seems to be the same
problem, but their problem was solved through rebuilding some Ubuntu packages,
which is not a viable solution for me as an openSUSE user. ;-)
