Summary: select pages for (e.g. print) like files/folders in
                    dolphin
           Product: okular
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: okular-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: 1JoS at sms.at

Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

first of all i would like to thank the contributors to kde for their work.

it would be nice to be able to select pages in okular (in the preview bar) in a
similar manner like you select files/folders in dolphin (the + or - sign in the
left upper corner). this would be helpfull for printing only specified pages.
personal note: since upgrading to kde 4.2.2 from kde3 i have been using dolphin
a lot and liked (among other things) the way to select files. when i used
okular for the first time i intuitively tried to click in the upper corner to
select specific pages for printing.
an additional nice feature would be something like reverse selection or "print
non-selected pages". in my specific situation where we (in the office) use a
color laser printer for "high quality" printing and a b/w laser printer for low
quality b/w printing (printing quality is set to low by the admin to save
money). thus we are asked to print most of our stuff in b/w. However sometimes
some color figures need colorprinting so i would like to be able to send those
to the color printer and the rest should go to the b/w printer (calling the
print dialogue two times)

thanks
