Of course, you did not setup correctly your local environment.
You miss to set KDEDIRS, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and more.
Please read http://okular.kde.org/download.php and the first link there.
(And in case of more troubles, move the discussion to the ml, it does no more
belong to a bug report.)
