Hi,

I just try okular and it's a very software but like some other people I'm a little bit disapointed by the annotations tools. I understand that the library actually used cannot add any informations to the pdf but for most people the annotations tools is expecting to work like the one from adobe and so add the information to the file. I'm a little bit afraid that this function will disapoint so many peolple that it will give a very bad image of okular. It's not clear at all that the annotations are not stored in the file. Perhaps the xml file can be use but not hidden in a strange place (for most people) and perhaps you can assure that the xml file is corresponding to the file if it use a md5 (just a suggestions I don't know if that can work). In this case the xml file could be associate to the file without a link to the name and/place where it is stored. In addition an option to save the xml file in the another directory than .kde/... file can be useful and add the possibility to open this file from okular (something like open annotations) the md5 if stored inside the xml file can provide the information if the xml file correspond to the pdf file or not. Just some suggestions.

Anyway great work :)
