D-BUS vs DCOP

I'm not on the list, so sorry if I'm repeating something...

Please make sure you guys discuss D-BUS vs DCOP, whether it will be a
suitable replacement and all that stuff.

Btw, I find it extremely surprising that the above webpage does not
have a single mention nor link nor credit to DCOP...  I thought D-BUS
was largely inspired and based on the DCOP design.
