Power plug standard?

At least my laptop has a flat plug without any grounding (I think it's 
called Euro plug in Germany). Actually, I can't remember having ever 
seen a laptop with anything else then a Euro plug. So everyone who 
brings a laptop shouldn't need any adaptors.
