How about inviting someone from the BSI who is involved in the projects there
? I mean, they are Kalles and our customers but in the end their POV where
KDE practically lacks would be nice to hear or what their ideas are (I have
something specific with this - one person there may be "officially" working
on KDE during his work hours on the groupware on CVS HEAD so they can work on
the source directly to make the groupware for KDE 3.2 better (which they
probably will want to use later after an interim time with kroupware) and
they want to gain a better understanding how free software is developed).
Kalle, you may have a better perspective since you're longer involved - your
view on this ?
Assembling the installations there has also shown where the problems currently
are in practical use with a bare Debian, so working from the bottom up here I
may be able to give a good overview about the project together with someone
from the BSI maybe. In particular it's interoperability issues where we could
pick up some stuff and work that into the kcontrol center to support more
features like fonts for gtk apps and setting their style to geramik :-)

We're not a company, we just produce better code at less costs.
