Hi Sebastion thanks for your reply I had seen it just hadn't found time to
reply. Posting this back to the main list in case others would benefit btw.

And because I didn't want to leave my last message to the board with the
impression Nepomuk wasn't working for me.

Because I tried Nepomuk again last night and I'm having more success it is
working much better than I'd realized.

e.g. I am able to see html thumbnails as you said, and I'm able to search
and even use the "hastag: splat" syntax in the search box, etc.

And to be honest I'm unclear right now why I've felt different things
were/weren't working different things I've tried it.

I honestly think it's a combination of maybe some things truly not working
for me (whether due to bugs or some kind installation problem on my box),
but now it appears it maybe more from my own inexperience with how the UI
works and what will/won't/should/shouldn't work depending on what
combination of buttons I've pushed (which probably means there's some room
for improvement usability wise ;).

e.g. It appears I pretty much have to leave the "Everywhere" button pushed,
because if I choose "From here" it literally only searches the current
directory and not it's subdirectories (that's not the intent or is it?)

And regarding me saying the html thumbnails hadn't been showing, it's quite
possible that I had not enabled them through the
Settings->Configure Dolphin->General->Previews area. Or that I had maybe
not had the "Preview" button pushed. But doing that they do show just as
you'd suggested they would.

And then regarding searching tags using "hastag: splat" in the search box, I
had been searching in general with "Filename" selected not "Content", and
it's likely that when I'd tried that before I hadn't realized it would only
work if you select "Content".

And that appears to be true of the Filter Pane as well right. I hadn't
realized it only works with "Content" selected but it does work for me when
it's selected.

I even just stumbled on
this<http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=202&t=92424> for
creating the virtual folders corresponding to your query results which I
just tried that's awesome.

The only other thing I've tried that I haven't been able to get to work was
I was wondering if I could/should be able to do sparql queries through the
dolphin search box and/or create virtual folders that run those?

I can't seem to make that work if so... not sure why maybe somehow I'm
using the wrong syntax or not encoding something that needs to be or
something...
