This really isn't Nepomuk's job. You'll need to contact the Strigi Project.
They are responsible for generating metadata from a PDF. We simply take the
metadata they produce and push it into Nepomuk ( after some minor
modifications )
If you're interested, the relevant code is at *
kdebase/runtime/nepomuk/services/strigi/.* The code is responsible for
calling a Strigi Analyzer to analyze the file and store the indexed data in
Nepomuk.
