I don't suppose there's any inkling to use ConsoleKit to interface with Gamin
over kinotify events / folder watching, thereby allowing exclusions based on
some type of policy engine?
If kiosk mode ever picked up steam again for multi-user lab setups it might be
nice to have a handle on granted permissions (e.g. indexing xattr-enabled
files). Exclusion based on PolicyKit might be a nice abstraction for Nepomuk /
Gamin.
Say, an explicitly-not-indexed policy and have the indexer rip through
everything else including root which is explicitly not indexed, while a deeper
sub-directory might.
