Fwd: KDE Neon User Edition USB: Does not recover from suspend / hardware support

Hello, I am using KDE Neon User Edition on a USB to check whether it
is compatible with my system.
The normal boot seems to get stuck. The safe video option boots fully
and seems to work fine, but it failed to resume from suspend. Actually
the machine appeared to be fully powered up, but the monitor reported
"No Signal". Unplugging and replugging the video cable did not matter.

1. Any suggestions on getting resume to work?

2. Any suggestions on getting normal boot to work?

3. In KDE neon, how does one check whether all the needed non-free or
free hardware support is installed? On a new Debian install, one uses
isenkram-cli to get suggestions of packages that would support the
hardware.
