Only three days to go until alpha4 will land on stable repository

Is there a way to have an application NOT use the new style stuff?  The 
only regression I saw was that the way alpha4 handles styles, my scrollbars 
are now not visible.  Is there a way to force it to use the default style 
that alpha3.4 used?
