Hi, I've a similar problem as well. When selecting fullscreen from my 
app it gora into fulscreen but as soon as I open a new menu, the android 
bar comes back.
I wrote to BogDan and IIRC he told me he knew what the problem could be 
and seems to be fixed: http://sourceforge.net/p/necessitas/tickets/186/
