Strange crash

Hi Thomas,

Interesting.. Was the code that you could debug on the nexus compiled as
thumb-2?

I'm pretty tired of device manufacturers supplying devices that can't be
used to debug things properly. I've spent a fair bit of time trying to get
armv7a debugging to work on my Galaxy S2, but if it turns out to be down to
the OEMs then that's not so good. I suspect maybe libc.so differences are
coming into play...

Would it be possible to send me full logs of the application output and gdb
log windows for trying to debug the same stuff on your nexus and also from
your S2? I think I need an 'official' device for Necessitas... Everything
else I've tried (various cyanogenmods, vegacomb on Advent Vega, S2 default
ROM) has had various weird problems... (also, trying to use ndk-gdb
generally fails on all of these devices in some way or another, often run-as
can't be used due to oddities in the filesystem).. And of course the
emulator is no good for armv7a either.

Anyway, I'm nearly ranting now, I think next time Google release a nexus
something or other I should get myself one... damn I spend too much on
Android ;-(

Ideally, we'd try to get Google to support us with some free devices, as
IMHO, we're doing them a pretty big favour with Necessitas.

Cheers,

Ray.
