Yes, the build seems to go all the way through, but something seems to then go wrong during installation, a library that is expected seems to be missing

Dyld Error Message:
  Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libmassifdata.dylib
  Referenced from: /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/massif-visualizer.app/Contents/MacOS/massif-visualizer
  Reason: image not found

indeed, the library is not there.

Yes, its very useful. We already have been using it via ubuntu ;) I would like to get it going on OSX as well if possible.
