[Marble] What are the types of map files supported by Kde-Marble ?

Hi again,

Since Marble doesn't support a database, I want to know whether it supports
shapefiles i.e. (.shp) files ?
I want to display individual layers of a map, that's why I wanted to know
the types of map-files supported by Marble !

I searched Google and the Marble FAQ for this but couldn't get a proper
answer.

Kindly guide !
