Hi,

there are two possibilities for your problem I can think of:

1) do you have all latest microsoft patches installed on both of your
computers? One reason might be that the microsoft runtime is not
installed on your notebook and thus marble doesn't work (the runtime
changed from 0.7 to 0.8 since I changed the compiler).
This should be fixable by installing

the vcredist_x86 package from the above link.

2) are you sure that you don't have older Qt libraries within your path?
Please check that opensource programs such as Miktex or something like
that are not within your path. You can check that by searching
QtCore4.dll on your computer. Please remove those other occurances from
your path or at least put the Marble installation directory first.
Especially an older Version of Marble shouldn't be in the path too.

If none of those things work, please send me again a short note.
