Check this tutorial to see how it works in inkscape: http://www.apm-designs.com/inkscape-tutorials/creating-and-editing-a-rectangle-in-inkscape-048  This behavior is kind of a standard for all drawing tools. It would be nice if it worked the same way in Marble for GroundOverlays (yes that might require to change the "node circles" to arrows as seen in the tutorial).
