Hi,

see the ElevationProfile plugin how to get the height values.
but first see the tilecreator-srtm2 sample how
to create the corrsponding map tiles.
this sample use the SRTM hgt files to create map tiles,

  I use NASA blue marble for my marble, this file.

  Is it possible that I can see Elevation of every point of earth from MSL (Sea Level).
