Hi all,

Looking for a starting point or even better a solution to being able to add a line, well a series of lines, to a custom layer in a Qt application with the Marble Widget. Ideally would be able to tweak some settings on this item once selected, or at least send a message with some id to the application to show the data in another window/view. Need to be able to support this for lines and polygons.

I know in the widget there selectable placemarks but would like to go beyond that. So if there is a base class that supports clicking on the object I can work from that. I remember seeing something about this not so long ago but my googling is not finding what I need to get a good starting point. I would like to only use stable releases and have no problems updating from current lib (12) to more current libraries. This is not for KDE and is going inside a Qt application.

Thanks for any and all help.
Jon
