Still broken in 25.04 and 25.08 in debian, both kde and qt version.
Maybe it's the OSM vector tiles being streamed? The files (f.e.
http://maps.kde.org/earth/vectorosm/v1/9/276/172.o5m) show a last-modified date
of 2020-11-02 ...
