            Bug ID: 324867
Summary: Print on the OSM map is too small
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: marble
           Version: 1.6.0 (KDE 4.11.0)
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: marble-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: rhardy702 at gmail.com

The street names on OSM maps, though generally quite sharp while using Mercator
projection, is too small to read at a glance while bouncing over the landscape
by someone with presbyopia, e.g., me.

I typically zoom and pan the map using fingers on a laptop touchpad, and then
snap to a zoom level using the routing info box (which has big buttons). But I
often find it better to forego the snap, as this leaves larger print on the
map.

It occurs to me that a cheaply available zoom feature would be have a
configurable snap level, perhaps continuously between 1 and 2, or perhaps to
certain effective values.

Reproducible: Always
