This should be core functionality, not a plugin. I administer a large
government website and would like to offer alternatives to Google Earth for
viewing KML files. Unfortunately I can't include Marble as an alternative
because it doesn't open KMZ files which is the format used throughout the site.

It would be such an easy feature to implement, pity you guys miss out.
