I only just tried marble so I cannot say when the problem developed.  
The entire world is covered in a haze which I can only assume is cloud, since
it disappears when I unselect the cloud option.  

Checking http://files.kde.org/marble/maps/earth/clouds/ I found clouds.jpg to
be sized zero bytes.  I'm assuming that's the problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
Load marble
View-clouds

Actual Results:  
The world looks washed out and awful

Expected Results:  
Clouds covering only parts of the world
