Summary: Marble should provide a Goto (Ctrl+G) action
           Product: marble
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: marble-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: samjnaa at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

New users to Marble would expect to find a Goto action (preferably with a Ctrl
+ G shortcut). For example, Stellarium has a Goto action to locate a star or
celestial object.

Granted, the navigation pane is there. So at least one can change the wording
"Search" to "Goto" and make G the accelerator.

My point is that one of the first things a person does upon opening an atlas or
map is locating a particular location and there must be a self-evident way to
do that in Marble.

I am reporting this as a bug instead of wishlist as it affects usability IMHO.

Thanks for all your great work!

Reproducible: Always
