The white lines are from the coordinate grid. You can deactivate it in the
Legend tab on the left.

Which projection are you using, maybe Globe? Globe is never sharp. Please make
sure "Mercator" is selected as projection in the "Map View" tab on the left.

Is the map also blurry in Mercator projection?
