wow, that was a fast answer :) 7 placemarks around Vienna is completely
correct, that's what the file contains (to make it easier to check I gave each
placemark the name of the city it points to).

Sure I can:
[person at localhost Dokumente]$ env | grep 'LC\|LANG'
LC_PAPER=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_SOURCED=1
LC_NUMERIC=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE=de_AT.UTF-8
LANG=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=de_AT.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=de_AT.UTF-8:de
LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_TIME=de_AT.UTF-8
LC_NAME=de_AT.UTF-8

Seems like this has been fixed since 0.8.5...
