When I build and install marble on my linux box it install 
MarbleWidgetPlugin.so LatLonEditPlugin.so MarbleNavigatorPlugin.so into
/usr/local/lib/kde4/plugins/designer/ where it should be in 
/usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer/ to be used in Qt designer.

Reproducible: Always
