Kate feature request

Hi,

There is the Build & Run plugin that should be able to do what you want

Either you run the command in the "build" command and have only terminal 
output, or you can run the command in the "run command" and the command will 
be run in a terminal tab (in the build tool-view)

 And then there is the "Tools -> Run Current Document" that tries to execute 
the current document in the terminal
