Can you do a full debug build (--enable-debug=full) and send me the full 
backtrace (bt full)?

v4l2 is the second, revised API for video4linux devices, it is way more 
flexible than v4l1. Most device drivers for linux-2.6 implement this API. DVB 
cards have their own API, though.
