Summary: editing a channel does not switch tunner to this channel
                    until changes applyed
           Product: kwintv
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwintv mail kde org
        ReportedBy: lahaye noos fr

Version: CVS 20040228 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-2mdk)
OS: Linux

after channels are found by a wizard scan, the user has to rename them with a usefull name.

An example is better than a long text so here it is:

1) Let says we are watching channel 1.
2) We want to rename channel 2 (we don't know yet what it is).
3) We go to the channel settings.
4) we double click ont the channel 2.
5) it opens the editing dialog WITHOUT changing the channel on the tunner.
6) We close the dialog. (BTW, this dialog freeze the current channel display until it is closed)
7) The channel 2 is NOW displayed (thus we can determine its name).
8) We double click again (the behaviour is now to rename instead of openning the edit dialog, as the entry is highlighted) to give its correct name.
(BTW having F2 as rename shortcut would be cool as it is commonly used in many applications).

steps 6 and 7 shoul not be needed.

Doubleclicking a channel should change it immediately and then open the edition dialog. (editing something wich is not yet displayed is no much usable).
