[Kwintv] restabilization

   I have reverted all those changes I made two months ago.  Hopefully it 
restabilizes things.  I still don't have time to work on it though.  If 
anyone comes up with new solutions to the initialisation order problems, 
please feel free to post a solution.  Maybe we can come up with a good 
solution and someone can commit a patch for it.

   Is anyone working on rewriting the V4L code?
