I have the same problem since kernel 2.6.0-test10. 2.6.0-test9 was still 
working, I believe. The problem is that there is no "video4linux" shown 
anymore (using "xvinfo") although the "v4l" module is still in the XFree 
configuration.

I discovered that it works when I do a "modprobe bttv" before I start the X 
server (also 4.3.0). Then "xvinfo" shows the "video4linux" again and QtVision 
works again. The XFree "v4l" module does not trigger the automatic loading of 
the "bttv" kernel module anymore. I don't know exactly what could be the 
reason for that, though.

I'm having some strange problems with the X server, especially on shutdown, 
since I use the new 2.6 kernel. Maybe I should try to recompile it?!
