This indicates the Xv plugin, yes.

   Ok that is almost certainly a bug in your XVideo driver.  I can put in a 
workaround for it I guess.  Try from CVS now.  I don't know if it will work, 
but maybe it will help.  It's a very strange thing to happen, especially 
since setMuted(false); gets called right after the XvPutVideo debug lines you 
see below.

  Yes this is a problemt hat needs to be addressed.
