[Kwintv] v4l works very badly, xv doesn't work at all

My Redhat 7.3 system is better with xv.
But I probably bumped to a later bttv set of files.
I assume that is what should be updated.
I'll try to grab a newer bttv drop 2night and maybe even a newer kernel;
using 2.4.18-14 now.
Hopefully its not a radeon driver problem.
Although I am hoping ATI comes out with a driver soon that supports
the S3 compressed textures ;-)
