I tried to do so but QtVision simply crashes on startup when I activate the 
V4L plugin now (see attached backtrace). In that case I have to manually 
edit my qtvisionrc to make it use the XVideo plugin again. I also got a 
crash when clicking on the "Configure Plugin" button of V4L but it seems 
to be related to the other one. Am I doing something wrong still?!

I did a fresh compile on KDE3.1/QT3.1 RC2.
