I'm running Mandrake 9.0, automake 1.6.3 and autoconf 2.1.3 and compiled =
today=20
with no trouble.

I don't know if this will help, but acinclude.m4.in has was changed sever=
al=20
times last week.  My copy is dated on Dec 5.  If you haven't updated=20
kde-common recently you might do that.  And of course, re-run configure.
