Move and resize windows with mouse buttons

thanks for your reply.

Sorry I now realize that I've not been totally clear in describing the
functionality I have in mind.

My point is to be able to move or resize windows by clicking on *any*
internal point of the window region (and then dragging), and not only
in the top bar or borders as it is usually implemented.

I find it much faster and convenient than having to first reach those
narrow enabled window parts to start the operation.
And mapping for example the lateral mouse buttons for this is ideal.

That is pretty easy to get in Compiz but unfortunately, I've never seen it
available anywhere else.
