X11 vs Kwin & Security

Hello,

I've been reading about X11 security issues with keylogging etc, and my understanding is that Kwin is now to the point where it can be used solely with Wayland. However, if I'm using Arch, it seems my only option for GPU drivers is the X.org xf86-video-amdgpu pkg. I'm assuming the drivers have nothing to do with actually showing windows and if you are using Wayland and Kwin the ability for one program to access all others running s no longer a concern regardless of the drivers, as I did read about efforts to fix that with Wayland, but I don't know the details so I'm curious.
