surely looks cool. :)
You can contribute patches by submitting a patch to our phabricator
here https://phabricator.kde.org/
You can do it through the UI or using the arc tool.
If you have questions about how to do that don't hesitate to ask here
or on the different channels we have available (IRC, or so).
