I managed to put my little widget together and to put it on the GUI.
Unfortunately, I havn't yet figured out how to tie it to the engine.

First I have to obtain access to a good list of circuits, then I have to
drill down through those, hopefully all the way to the actual matrix
implementation, and then copy all the data out all without causing a
race condition with everything else in the software.. =\

hmm.......
