Yes I saw this ... but there is not much information!

Has anyone information about KTechLab which where at ktechlab.org on his 
local computer ?
(thanks to donal morrissey who already sent me the source of ktechlab-0.3)

My problem is, that it is crashing when I try to load the hex file onto 
the pic in the simulation - any hints what I can try ?
