I spent the day h4x0r!ng. I converted the simulator to use STL the STL
list class and I converted the Osilloscope to use the STL vector class.
The latter change cleared up a ton of atrocious code. =)

I've also added in a few debugging checks so that it will now sometimes
report some of the errors it is making to the log console.

I'm gonna call it a day.

There might be one or two more opportunities for further conversion to
STL classes, I'll look for them tomorrow. Bah humbug. ;)
