Hi All,
I have taken a very quick look at the possible new Kstars web site. On the whole its well laid out from my perspective. It would be good if all the products could be integrated under one roof. As a new user I found this confusing and still do at times. The products (if I can call them products) are Kstars, Ekos, Indi, Astroberry and Stellarmate. Other external products such as EQMOD and PHD2 also included. Some overall schematic diagrams showing how these products fit together and additional diagrams explaining the variations possible in the client/server architecture model would be very useful.
The home page shows version 3.6.3 as the latest, but release notes are for an earlier version. Snapcraft (something I haven't come across before) says the latest/stable version is 3.6.1. I am guessing 3.6.3 is a pre release version but release notes for this version would still be useful so we can see what's changed and what to test for.
Busy, skilled developers working with advanced technology I can understand. Kstars dragons with superpowers seem a bit childish to me.
Best regards
David Bennett

Hi everyone,
I was told by Jasem to write to this mailing list so here I am.
I'm in KDE web team, we are retiring the edu.kde.org website. KStars is the only project that is still actively using it.
I think KStars should have its own website since there are many things to show about it that cannot fit into a single page on apps.kde.org.
So you can see the site I have made for KStars at https://phunh.gitlab.io/. I've transferred everything I've found suitable in KStars' pages on edu.kde.org to this site. You can also see some notes about what have changed at https://gitlab.com/PhuNH/phunh.gitlab.io/-/blob/master/NOTES.md.
I'm looking forward to knowing what you think.
Regards,
Phu
