Flats not working on latest version

Dear all,
I am working on commit 652039e03a60cecffd22eb6ea967e1ef90faa86b and to have a problem with flats. It seems like something is broken there:
- after a preview, capturing does not continue
- the modal dialog for covering the scope appears twice
