Broken Kstars v3.5.0-beta "empty sky"

Well, it does seem like KStars is finding some of the object databases. We
do see, for example, that it did find and load some star databases
(unnamedstars.dat, deepstars.dat ...).
I'm hoping that we deprecated the GL backend, and it isn't being used. One
thing you can try is to see if removing your config file helps and
reintroduce the non-problematic lines of the config file that you care
about back. Your config should be found in ~/.config/kstarsrc on Linux
machines. Not sure what the equivalent path is on other OSes.
I've attached a snippet of my output (in my case, KStars works, and I just
discovered the "HiPS all sky survey" overlay, which is AWESOME).
