OK, I'm officially confused. On my SuSe 11.4 (out-of-the-box, but
updated), a freshly downloaded and compiled kstars, installed in its
separate directory cf.
http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Edu/KStars/Building_KStars
crashes when attempted to run after a lot of kbuildsycoca4 messages. The
final part is copied below.


kbuildsycoca4(27213) parseLayoutNode: The menu spec file contains a
Layout or DefaultLayout tag without the mandatory Merge tag inside.
